A clinical note says what is wrong with a named child, which makes the medical centre the most sensitive thing in a school's software and the part most often run on paper.
This is a working boarding-school clinic: walk-in visits, assessments, beds, prescriptions, and a dispensary that counts stock in packs and dispenses in units the way a nurse actually speaks. The allergy check reads the active ingredients of what is being prescribed, not just its name, and it never blocks — a hard stop on a fuzzy match is how a prescription ends up written on paper instead.
Costs are behind their own permission in both directions: a nurse does not need to see spend, and a bursar approving an order does not need to read clinical notes.
