Assets & Procurement
What the school owns, keeps in stock and buys.
Most schools know what they own the way they know who borrowed the projector: somebody remembers.
Assets & Procurement gives every laptop, microscope and piano a passport — its tag, where it is, who has it, what it cost and everything that has happened to it — and a QR label that opens it on any phone. Consumables are counted in their stores instead: paper, chemicals, cleaning supplies, issued to the departments that use them, with a warning before anything runs out.
When a department needs something, the school looks before it buys. A request is met from stock if the stock is there; only the shortfall becomes a requisition, which goes through the approval chain your school sets — one signature for a small school, a head of department and a finance officer above a threshold for a larger one — to a purchase order, a delivery checked at the door, and stock or tagged assets on the register the moment it is accepted.
